Pests

Sugar beet pests are known as soil pests since they complete part of their cycles in the soil but they can attack many parts of young seedlings (roots, stems, petioles, leaves) or even adult plants. Most important soil pests in France include: pygmee mangold beetle, millipedes, wireworms, ringworms, leather jackets, leaf miners and thrips.
